The semester event schedule for the book club will revolve around the group reading Escape from Mr.Lemoncello’s Library.

“We are currently reading Escape from Mr.Lemoncello’s Library collaborating with the Medina book club in Medina Tennessee, and looking forward to seeing the movie based on the book Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.” Media Specialist and Book club director, Mrs. Cooper said.

The club will get to watch the movie as an added extra and skype with the author, Chris Grabenstein, at the end of January.

“I am really excited to be able to Skype with the author of the book we are reading, and I like reading in general so this is really fun for me.” Emma Raney said.

Students are excited about the upcoming events of the year and are always accepting members.  Other Book Club activities include a book tasting, where students find a book that they would like to check out while eating their lunch with friends. In February, the book club will host Blind Date with a Book. This is an event where the books are covered and you switch around with the people at your table and rate the books you get.
